Job summary

A reputable construction company based in Herning is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join the team. You will measure, cut, join and install wood, plywood and wallboard, read blueprints, and finish surfaces.

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. The ideal candidate has proven carpentry experience, knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to work with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including framing finishing and cabinetry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

We are a reputable construction company based in Herning and we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood plywood and wallboard This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per week and accommodation provided

Key Responsibilities

• Measure cut shape and join materials made of wood or other materials such as drywall and plastic
• Read and interpret blueprints drawings or specifications to determine the layout of the project
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames floorings trimmings using hand or power tools
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed
• Finish surfaces by sanding staining or painting
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including framing finishing and cabinetry
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity for working with hand tools for extended periods of time
• Own set of basic carpentry tools is preferred
