Job summary

KnowlegeBridge in Copenhagen, Denmark is seeking a Carpenter to construct, install and repair wooden structures according to blueprints and client specs. The role requires attention to detail and accurate measurements, with the ability to work independently.

This urgent opening is available immediately. Salary is 1500$ per month negotiable based on experience. Visa sponsorship and accommodation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.

Job description

As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood and other materials. Your main duties will include reading blueprints and following building plans to meet client specifications. You will also need to have a keen eye for detail and ensure that all measurements are accurate.

This is an urgent job opening as we are looking for someone to join our team immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine materials required.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, plywood and other materials.
• Build structures such as walls, floors, roofs using various carpentry tools.
• Install structures such as windows, frames, doors, etc.
• Inspect existing structures to identify any repairs needed.
• Repair or replace damaged framework or other wooden structures.
• Operate power tools such as saws, drills, etc.
• Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
• Knowledge of different carpentry techniques including framing and finishing work.
• Proficient in using carpentry tools including hand saws, power saws, etc.
• Attention to detail with good measurement skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Danish language skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary 1500$ per month negotiable based on experience.
