Job summary

A reputable construction company based in Herning is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join the team. You will measure, cut, join and install wood, plywood and wallboard, read blueprints, and finish surfaces.

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. The ideal candidate has proven carpentry experience, knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to work with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including framing finishing and cabinetry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape and join materials made of wood or other materials such as drywall and plastic.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or specifications to determine the layout of the project.
• Install structures and fixtures using hand or power tools.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed.
• Finish surfaces by sanding, staining or painting.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
