Job summary

Scan Con Construction is seeking Ship Electricians for the marine industry in Denmark. The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems on ships, with emphasis on safety and adherence to drawings and specifications.

You will troubleshoot electrical issues, test equipment, and participate in the installation of new systems across repair and new build departments. Experience in shipyards is preferred and a Danish contract is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on ships.

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes for layouts.
• Install or repair wiring, conduits, and electrical components.
• Test electrical equipment for continuity, voltage, and resistance.
• May install and calibrate industrial instrumentation.
• Perform other duties as required.

for marine industry in Danmark

Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments.

Key tasks:

• Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on ships
• Troubleshoot, diagnose electrical problems and findsolutions
• Maintain electrical equipment and oversee the installation of new electrical systems
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
• Performs other duties as required
