Job summary
Scan Con Construction ApS seeks an experienced electrical technician to install, repair and maintain shipboard electrical systems. You will read plans, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safe installation of wiring, lighting, instrumentation, and panels.
Strong teamwork and English communication are required. Work is full-time on site in Denmark with 37 hours per week, overtime potential, travel allowances, and health insurance.
Qualifications
- English communication is required for this role.
- Must be able to read and interpret various types of plans and sketches.
- Attention to detail and safety are essential on site.
- Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on ships.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose electrical problems and find solutions.
- Maintain electrical equipment and oversee installation of new systems.
- Read drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specs for layouts.
- Install or repair wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, cables, lighting.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, resistance.
- May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation.
