Job summary

MARPRO Group in Copenhagen is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and test advanced electrical, electronic and control systems used in maritime operations.

You will work both in-house and in the field, supporting system deployments, upgrades and operational activities while documenting work and collaborating with engineering, operations and customer teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and system documentation.
• Knowledge of electronics, communication equipment and technical systems.
• Familiarity with radio systems, networks or IP-based technologies.
• Fluency in English; eligibility to work in the EU; EU security clearance.
• Background in field service, production, workshop or testing environments welcome.

Responsibilities

The job

As Electrician, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of advanced electronic, communication and control systems used in maritime operations.

You will work both in-house and in the field, supporting system deployments, upgrades and operational activities. The role combines practical technical work with documentation, testing and collaboration across engineering, operations and customer teams.

You will contribute throughout the entire system lifecycle, from assembly and commissioning to operational support and continuous improvement.

The position includes travel for field support and operational activities, and it is a position for someone who enjoys working hands‑on with technology, takes pride in delivering high-quality solutions.

Professional qualifications

• You are educated Marine Engineer, Electrician, Electronics Technician, Electro Technical Officer or similar technical background
• Experience with low-voltage electrical systems
• Experience reading and working from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and system documentation
• Understanding of electronics, communication equipment and technical systems
• Knowledge of radio systems, networks or IP-based technologies
• Fluency in English, eligibility to work within the EU and have EU security clearance
