Job summary

DEIF A/S in Skive, Denmark, is seeking a Technical Engineer to join the Global 2nd line Service Team. You’ll act as the primary technical expert, providing top-tier support to customers, partners, and internal teams, and you’ll drive service improvements across the organisation.

The role emphasizes mentoring, cross-functional collaboration with Sales and R&D, and hands-on work with power management and protection devices. Fluent English is required; Danish language is an advantage.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or Automation Technology.
Experience as a Service Engineer, Application Engineer or related role.
Good English skills in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex customer cases.
Build structures (tools and ways of working) and foster global cooperation between global teams.
Manage big troubleshooting issues and drive product quality issues through R&D and suppliers.
Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D to improve product quality.
Manage the development of new products from a service perspective and anchor the knowledge in all our subsidiaries.
Collaborate with Sales and engage in both pre- and after-sales activities.
