Job summary

DEIF A/S is seeking an Embedded SW Developer to join our skilled embedded SW Team focusing on measurement and protection. Your primary focus will be ensuring our products meet grid connection standards and exceed market requirements.

You will build our new products from collaborating on specifications through implementation to quality assurance with a CI-enabled pipeline, while expanding functionality of existing solutions and maintaining quality and security.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with SW-heavy emphasis, ideally electrical.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded software.
• Solid SW design knowledge: SOLID and patterns.
• Experience with SW engineering tools and methodologies.
• Strong English, Danish is a plus.
• Three-phase power systems experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop SW within the embedded SW domain for our diverse products.
• Ensure pipeline integration and continuous integration.
• Document functionality and setup methods, while supporting technical documentation.
• Maintenance and quality assurance of the developed SW.
• Improve structure of frameworks and apply/improve platform structure across products.

About The Job

As an Embedded SW Developer, you’ll be an integral part of DEIF’s skilled embedded SW Team focussing on measurement and protection. Your primary focus will be ensuring our products not only meet various grid connection standards but also exceed market requirements. You will play a key role building our new products from collaborating on specifications through implementation to quality assurance though a proper continuous integration enabled pipeline. Additionally, you will help ensure expansions of functionality in existing products and maintaining our solutions towards quality and security needs.

Working Tasks & Responsibilities

• Develop SW within the embedded SW domain for our diverse products.
• Ensure pipeline integration and continuous integration.
• Documenting functionality and setup methods, while supporting technical documentation.
• Maintenance and quality assurance of the developed SW.
• Improve structure of frameworks and apply/improve platform structure across products.

What You’ll Bring

• An engineering degree involving SW heavy engineering, preferably within electrical engineering or a similar field.
• Adapt SW developer skills in HW near code (C, C++)
• Solid experience in SW engineering principes like SOLID additionally to creational, structural and behavioural design patterns.
• Well versed and varied experience with SW engineering tools.
• Advanced communication skills in English and preferably also in Danish
• Experience within three phase power systems is a highly desired bonus.
