Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation in Denmark seeks a Senior Support Engineer for the Alignment and Measurement Services team in Noerresundby. The role combines 50% office work and 50% field assignments across the maritime sector.

You will work on measurement technologies, calculations, data analysis and customer support, with travel across Denmark and abroad. A Mechanical Engineering background and strong IT/CAD skills are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Proficiency in IT including MS Office and CAD.
• Good English skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal support to alignment engineers.
• Perform calculations and drawings for shaft line monitoring systems.
• Conduct mechanical calculations and simulations; data analysis and reporting.
• Offer on-site assistance with measurements and troubleshooting in collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Travel approx. 120 days per year domestically and internationally.
