Responsibilities

• Act as Emerson’s on-site technical lead during start-up, commissioning, sea trials, and system acceptance activities.
• Verify the correct installation, configuration, testing, and functional performance of marine automation and control solutions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to minimize operational disruptions and support successful project outcomes.
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, system documentation, and interface requirements to ensure accurate execution.
• Perform system inspections, testing, validation, and commissioning activities in accordance with project specifications and customer requirements.
• Ensure all field activities comply with Emerson health, safety, and environmental standards, customer expectations, and applicable maritime regulations.
• Serve as a trusted customer-facing representative, building positive relationships with shipyards, vessel owners, classification societies, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Support knowledge transfer activities by providing operational guidance, informal training, and handover support to service teams, and operational personnel.
• Document site activities, technical findings, commissioning results, and service recommendations accurately and professionally.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams to drive continuous improvement and successful project delivery.
