Job summary

Robotto is hiring a C++ Software Engineer to join our engineering team building robust software for drones and unmanned systems. You will contribute to the software that powers the platform, spanning autonomous systems, configuration tools and control interfaces.

You will collaborate with computer vision, autonomy, embedded software and hardware teams to improve reliability, performance and real‑world operation of our systems.

Qualifications

• Strong production‑quality C++ software experience.
• Experience with multi‑component or distributed software systems.
• Familiarity with networking, IPC, APIs or protocols.
• Good grasp of concurrency and performance in C++.
• Experience debugging and testing in Linux environments.
• Interest in robotics or autonomous systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality C++ software across the platform.
• Build software used across drone and unmanned systems.
• Develop reliable data flows between software and hardware components.
• Work on real‑time or near real‑time applications.
• Integrate software with APIs, networking components, sensors and infrastructure.
• Debug complex issues across interconnected systems and identify root causes.
• Contribute to software architecture and design decisions.
• Write maintainable, testable production code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and documentation.
