Job summary

Chainalysis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Investigations to drive technical direction for cloud-native data ingestion and domain services. You will lead architecture, build and maintain customer-facing features and the supporting APIs, working closely with product managers and designers.

You will mentor engineers, advocate streaming architectures, and own scaling of high-performance services on AWS.

Qualifications

Experience designing cloud-native services in AWS or GCP.
Proven track record mentoring engineers and leading cross-team projects.
Ability to align technical work with product/design partners and ship iteratively.
Deep experience with backend and/or frontend systems, including leadership roles.
Strong ownership mindset from inception to production.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and maintenance of cloud-native data ingest and aggregation pipelines.
Drive delivery of features across product suite for detection of activities and patterns.
Own and scale high-performance services on AWS handling thousands of requests per second.
Lead modernization towards streaming architecture and set best practices.
Own the graphing platform direction used across multiple products.
Debug production issues across systems and guide the team through challenging problems.
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
