Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S is seeking a Solution Architect to shape the technical direction for ETCS Level 2 projects within the F-Bane programme. You will bridge engineering requirements and practical implementation while collaborating across internal teams and suppliers in a diverse, international setting.

The role demands hands‑on architecture work, strong communication, and a proactive, autonomous approach to complex railway projects, with a flexible hybrid work model based in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in railway signaling and ETCS.
• 5+ years’ experience in railway operations and principles.
• Proven experience in system design and complex architectures.
• Ability to solve technical problems with analytical thinking and autonomy.
• Fluent in English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Denmark’s next‑gen digital rail network.
• Align engineering requirements with ETCS L2 design.
• Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Review and optimize engineering processes for improvement.
• Prepare change requests and assess impact; approve technical deliverables.
