Job summary

Factbird is hiring Full Stack Cloud Engineers to join our Cloud department in Copenhagen. You’ll work across frontend React and backend Rust/Node.js, in a multi-account AWS setup, shipping features end-to-end.

We value pragmatic engineers who contribute to architecture, mentoring, and design systems, with strong English communication and a willingness to relocate to Denmark if needed.

Qualifications

• At least three years experience since graduating from a relevant Masters program.
• Solid, hands-on experience across the full stack—frontend (React or equivalent) and backend (Rust/Node.js, or equivalent).
• Comfort working with AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Track record of shipping features independently with good testing, code quality, and design.
• Good communication with strong English fluency, able to explain trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a Nix-backed ecosystem from development tooling to cross-compiled build artifacts.
• Own features end to end—from rough idea to shipped, tested production software.
• Build and maintain frontend features in React and backend services in TypeScript/Node.js/Rust in a multi-account AWS environment.
• Write infrastructure as code (e.g. AWS CDK) for the systems you build.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture decisions; mentor others.
