Unity Technologies ApS is seeking a Senior Software Developer to tackle complex performance challenges across Unity, native platform code, graphics, and device-specific tech. You will design Adaptive Performance features and profile workloads to drive stability and efficiency.

Responsibilities include debugging, mentoring, and collaborating with partner teams to deliver AI-assisted workflows and performance insights across platforms such as Android, iOS, desktop, and consoles.

Qualifications

• Experience with large and unfamiliar codebases.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Ability to mentor others and share knowledge.
• English proficiency for collaboration with teams worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Investigate CPU, GPU, memory, thermal, and runtime performance issues across Unity and supported platforms
• Design and develop Adaptive Performance features that improve runtime stability and efficiency
• Profile applications and engine workloads to identify bottlenecks and derive solutions
• Collaborate with Unity teams, platform holders, hardware partners, OEMs, and customers
• Contribute to technical design, testing, code reviews, mentoring, and AI-assisted workflows
