Job summary

Sparinvest S.A. is seeking a Senior Risk Officer to join its Risk Management department. You will identify, monitor, and report risks within UCITS and AIF structures across Luxembourg and Denmark, contributing to regulatory compliance and robust risk frameworks.

The role offers international exposure, cross-border collaboration, and the opportunity to shape risk management processes while working from either Copenhagen or Luxembourg with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or operational function within a Management Company/AIFM or similar.
• Knowledge of asset management, including UCITS and AIF structures.
• Fluent in English; Danish is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily risk processes for Luxembourg and Danish investment funds, including regular reviews.
• Maintain and improve risk systems and models with Group entities.
• Improve tools and procedures for operational risk management.
• Oversee risk management tasks delegated to Group entities in Denmark.
• Engage with boards and senior management and prepare risk reports, including submissions to Finanstilsynet and the CSSF.
• Work with local and cross-border teams in a project-driven setting.
• Your day-to-day job location will be either Luxembourg or Copenhagen, with regular travel to the other location about every two months.
