MITS Industries in Copenhagen seeks a Senior Systems Engineer, RF Systems to build the site's systems engineering capability for advanced RF and aerospace products. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in systems engineering for complex RF, electronic, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.
  • Strong understanding of RF systems including receiver architectures, RF signal paths, antenna interfaces, signal acquisition, data conversion, embedded control, timing, and validation.
  • Experience translating needs into functional, performance, parametric, interface, environmental, and verification requirements.
  • Experience developing architectures, decomposing systems, allocating requirements, and defining interfaces and trade-offs.
  • Experience budgets and constraints for RF performance, timing, data flow, power, thermal, mass, and platform interfaces.
  • Ability to establish traceability, acceptance criteria, and verification methods.
  • Experience with DOORS/Jama/Polarion and similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product, mission, and stakeholder needs into clear functional, performance, and verification requirements.
  • Develop and maintain functional and physical system architecture; allocate requirements to subsystems.
  • Establish and maintain system performance budgets: RF, timing, data flow, power, thermal, mass, interfaces.
  • Define and maintain system, subsystem requirements, interfaces, and verification logic.
  • Align RF subsystem requirements: frequency coverage, sensitivity, linearity, noise, interference resilience.
  • Define antenna-system requirements: coverage, gain, polarization, pattern, and platform integration.
  • Define embedded control, data acquisition, timing, synchronization, diagnostics, and networking needs.
  • Coordinate mechanical/platform requirements: dimensions, mass, thermal management, cabling, shielding.
  • Work with RF test engineers to define acceptance criteria, calibration needs, and verification methods.
  • Prepare system requirements specifications, interface-control documents, integration plans, and verification records.
  • Lead system integration, prototype bring-up, laboratory validation, qualification, and field-test prep.
  • Identify risks, interface conflicts, missing requirements, and drive resolution actions.
