Job summary

MITS Industries seeks a Senior RF / Microwave Hardware Engineer to join the Copenhagen R&D team and advance RF/microwave design. You will craft hardware and subsystems, including receivers, amplification, filtering, and LO circuitry, with emphasis on RF performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering or related field; PhD optional.
• 7+ years in RF and microwave hardware design with hands-on bring-up.
• Experience with receiver architectures, LNA, filters, mixers, oscillators, and synthesis.
• Strong RF budgeting, impedance matching, and system-level analysis.
• Hands-on RF PCB layout, laminate choices, stack-up, and high-frequency interconnects.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools for schematic capture and RF PCB layout.
• Experience with RF measurement equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generators).

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into RF hardware architecture and budgets.
• Design RF circuits, modules, and signal-acquisition paths with bias and control.
• Perform RF performance analysis: sensitivity, noise figure, dynamic range, linearity.
• Create schematics and own RF PCB layout with controlled impedance routing.
• Run circuit and electromagnetic simulations and correlate with lab data.
• Lead bring-up, tuning, debugging, and verification of prototypes.
• Integrate RF hardware with antennas, data interfaces, and mechanical systems.
• Contribute to EMC/EMI, environmental qualification, and reliability testing.
• Prepare specifications, BOMs, and production-release artifacts.
• Own component/supplier choices and mitigations for manufacturability.
