Job summary

Weibel Scientific A/S in Allerød, Denmark, is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our R&D Antenna group to advance Doppler radar hardware. You will engage in debugging, system verification, and rapid design iterations for our radar components, including microcontrollers and mixed-signal circuits, in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in digital/analog/mixed-signal design from concept to layout and verification.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools (Cadence OrCAD/Allegro).
• Knowledge of RF technology is advantageous.
• Development experience with CE compliant devices.

Responsibilities

• Debug at test site, determine root cause, design solution short- and long-term, update specifications.
• Performance test and verification of redesigns on board, module and radar level.
• Engage with System and Subsystem Architects.
• Work with RF/analog and Mechanical Engineers to find the best design compromises.
• Design and verification of hardware with timing requirements.
• Support production and customers with updated documentation.
• Participate in assembly, test and evaluation of design prototypes.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews with our in-house production team.
