Job summary

Relesys is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to enhance quality assurance across their stack, including SQL, .NET, Angular, Azure, and Playwright. You will be responsible for the entire testing strategy, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and mentoring teams to uphold the quality standards.

With 7+ years in software or quality engineering, strong programming skills, and hands-on test automation experience, you will work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth and a competitive salary package ranging from EUR 5000-5500 gross.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team at a pivotal moment. You will own quality end-to-end and help us ship better, faster, every single day.

Our stack: SQL, .NET, Angular, Azure and Playwright.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the testing strategy across the full test pyramid (unit, integration, E2E and API) and expand coverage with Playwright where it adds the most value.
• Own the quality gates inside our Azure CI/CD pipelines that give developers fast, reliable feedback, as part of our path toward continuous delivery.
• Raise the bar on how developers test through shared standards, hands‑on code review and coaching. Quality is everyone’s responsibility, and you make that practical.
• Own the quality metrics that matter: escape defect rate, change failure rate, coverage trends and DORA metrics, and use them to drive real improvement.
• Drive a shift‑left culture in close collaboration with Platform Engineering, making quality a natural part of how engineers work.

Who are you?

• Strong programming skills. You are comfortable writing, reviewing and owning test code in a production codebase.
• You have worked at least 7 years in software or quality engineering, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience with a test automation framework such as Playwright or Selenium.
• You have designed or contributed to CI/CD pipelines with meaningful quality gates, ideally in Azure.
• Experience with API testing.
• You understand DORA metrics and know how to use them to drive improvement.
• You have been part of, or led, a transformation from release‑based to continuous delivery.
• You know how to influence engineering culture and raise quality standards without managing the people you work with.
• You communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• You are based in or near Copenhagen, Odense, Vilnius, or Kaunas.
