Job summary

Sund & Bælt is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager for the Femern Project, based in the Rødby office with occasional days in Copenhagen. You will safeguard quality across complex infrastructure, partnering with contractors, teams and technical specialists to assure compliance and foster a strong quality culture throughout the project lifecycle.

You bring a Civil Engineering background with 10+ years in construction, including 5+ years in quality management, and strong proficiency in ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably within Civil Engineering.
• More than 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• At least 5 years in construction quality management.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience with MS Office and EDMS.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and follow-up of the Contractor’s Quality Management System and related deliverables.
• Monitor the Contractor’s quality performance, including submissions, non-conformities, corrective actions, and KPIs.
• Assess the resolution of the Contractor’s System NCRs and lead reviews.
• Oversee planning, execution, and follow-up of contractor audits and monitor audit closure.
• Analyse audit results and quality trends to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Represent the Owner in selected audits and promote a risk-based quality approach.
• Support internal audits and follow up on findings, lessons learned and preventive actions.
• Contribute to quality reporting.
• Participate in Quality Status Meetings with the Contractor.
