Job summary

Sund & Bælt in Denmark seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to safeguard quality across the Femern Project. You will drive quality governance, audits, and continuous improvement in a large, international infrastructure setting.

Based in Rødbyhavn with occasional Copenhagen days, you will collaborate with contractors, project teams, and technical specialists to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and a strong quality culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, with 10+ years in construction.
• 5+ years in construction quality management.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally Design & Build.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; proficient with MS Office and EDMS.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Govern, monitor, and improve quality management systems across projects.
• Review and follow-up on Contractor’s Quality Management System and deliverables.
• Monitor contractor quality performance and KPIs; identify quality-related risks.
• Lead planning, execution, and closure of contractor audits.
• Analyze audit results and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent the Owner in selected audits and promote a risk-based quality approach.
• Support internal audits and capture lessons learned and preventive actions.
• Contribute to quality reporting and status meetings.
