Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Python developer with a data science background to own the NDT project long term. You will co-build across the codebase with the current team to understand it and then take over ownership once the current team leaves.

From that point, you will keep the project running and continuously adapt it to changing business requirements. You will collect new data and retrain models when needed, and critically challenge training data to ensure deployment readiness, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Must have solid, production-minded Python.
• Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking.
• Collaborative coding using Git and team workflows.
• Self-reliant with the ability to unblock minor technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Co-build across the entire codebase with the current team and prepare to take full ownership once they leave.
• Own the project long term, maintain it, and continuously adapt it to changing business requirements.
• Collect new data and retrain the model when needed.
• Critically challenge the training data and determine whether a model is ready to deploy.
