Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Denmark seeks a Senior Project Manager – Finance Transformation to lead complex initiatives modernizing finance processes and systems. You will drive cross-functional delivery, enable measurable improvements, and build a scalable finance backbone for growth.

You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement across sites, guiding change management and ensuring value delivery throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Admin with 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in PM or operational excellence in finance-focused projects.
• Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
• Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing, large global organization and with ERP/finance software.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, timeline, resources, and budget to achieve outcomes.
• Develop detailed project plans with dependencies, responsibilities, and schedules.
• Oversee budget management; flag deviations for timely decisions.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery and execution.
• Coordinate finance resources and cross-functional teams across sites.
• Run process-mapping workshops documenting current state, pain points, and options.
• Track KPIs and escalate where performance needs improvement.
• Manage stakeholders; support change management, communications, rollout, and training.
• Support business case development for stage-gate requests with clear problem statements.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and steering groups.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Manage project scope, timeline, resources, and budget to achieve specified outcomes.

• Coordinate finance resources, cross-functional teams, and materials across multiple sites to deliver project requirements.
• Execute process mapping workshops with project teams and SMEs to document and optimize processes and workflows, including current state, pain points, solution options, timelines, and cost.
• Track meaningful KPIs and upscale where performance is not as expected; use KPIs to identify processes needing transformation and to assess solution effectiveness.
• Manage stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement throughout project lifecycles; support change management, communication, engagement, rollout, and training plans.
• Support development of business cases for stage-gate requests with clear and concise problem statements.
• Prepare and present project status reports/updates to stakeholders and steering groups; ensure all documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree attained in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other related field with a minimum of 10 years professional experience with 5 years of experience in project management or operational excellence role, with a strong preference for experience in finance-focused projects
• Or if a Masters attained – A minimum of 5 years professional experience with 3 years of experience in project management or operational excellence role, with a strong preference for experience in finance-focused projects
• A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred
• Proven experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma or Agile methodologies and demonstrated ability to manage the successful delivery of projects
• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing industry in large, global organization is desired
• Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with finance and accounting software
