Job summary

RDT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical and industrial projects in the pharmaceutical and API manufacturing sector. The role focuses on process automation, DCS/PLC systems, and IT/OT integration, with a strong emphasis on GMP-compliant project delivery.

The successful candidate will manage FAT/SAT/UAT, commissioning, validation, and handover phases, coordinating with engineering, automation, IT, production, QA, vendors and end users onsite in Kalundborg, Denmark.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10+ years of project management experience in technical/industrial environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is an advantage.
• Onsite 100% presence in Kalundborg, Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical and industrial projects within pharma/API manufacturing and process industries.
• Oversee scope, planning, budget, resources, risk, and stakeholder management.

Senior Project Manager – Process Automation & Manufacturing Systems

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical and industrial projects within the pharmaceutical / API manufacturing / process industry sector.

Key Responsibilities & Required Experience:

• Project management of complex technical/industrial projects, covering scope, planning, budget, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder management


• Hands-on experience with Process Automation, ideally within pharma, API production, or broader process industry environments


• Experience with DCS/ECS/PLC systems, with ABB 800xA experience considered a strong advantage


• Experience with Manufacturing IT, IT/OT integration, SCADA/HMI systems, and data acquisition


• Experience executing projects within a GMP-regulated environment is a strong advantage


• Experience managing FAT, SAT, UAT, commissioning, qualification/validation, and handover phases


• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, automation, IT, production, QA, vendors, and end users

Requirements:

• Minimum 6–10+ years of relevant project management experience within technical/industrial environments
