Job summary

Pharmacosmos is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the multi-year Veeva implementation and to manage cross-functional IT projects with direct visibility to senior management.

You will work with Quality, R&D, Clinical and Drug Safety, together with IT and external consultants, shaping plans, dependencies and validation activities across the organisation.

Fluency in English is required, and a strong pharma IT background with GxP experience will help drive decisions and delivery.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience as Project Manager or IT Project Manager.
• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional system implementations with external vendors.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience with understanding of GxP and validation for IT implementations.
• Direct experience with Veeva is a significant advantage.
• English fluency is required.

Responsibilities

About the job Senior Project Manager

Lead a multi-year Veeva implementation across a fast-growing pharma company, with direct visibility to senior management and real ownership from day one.

End-to-end ownership of business-critical projects

As Senior Project Manager at Pharmacosmos, you will take responsibility for planning, structuring and delivering complex, cross-functional projects. Your initial focus is the company's multi-year Veeva implementation (2025-2029), driven in close collaboration with business owners in Quality, R&D, Clinical and Drug Safety, together with IT, subject matter experts, external consultants and Veeva itself. You will build the project structure, set realistic plans and milestones, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure GxP validation is carried out correctly. The role goes beyond keeping plans updated: you are expected to spot gaps, challenge assumptions and drive issues to resolution, setting direction while relying on specialists for regulatory, validation and technical decisions. You will report to the Director of Data & Projects, and become the second Senior Project Manager in a small team within Finance, Procurement & IT.

Experienced project manager who knows pharma IT systems

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience as a Project Manager or IT Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional system implementations involving external vendors. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is required, together with a practical understanding of GxP and how validation requirements affect an IT implementation. Direct experience with Veeva is a significant advantage. The position also calls for confidence in executive steering committees and the ability to present complex issues clearly and provide well-founded recommendations. A relevant higher education within IT, engineering, business administration, economics or a related field is expected. Personally, you are outgoing, hands-on and structured, with a calm and pragmatic approach when projects become challenging. Fluency in English is required.
