JBT Marel seeks a Senior Software Program Manager in Aarhus, Denmark, to align product vision with engineering excellence and business priorities. You will lead software initiatives across Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions.

You will drive planning as Product Owner, manage risks and dependencies, and champion Agile practices to continuously improve delivery quality.

Competenze

• Bachelors or Masters degree in CS/Software Engineering/IT or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, product ownership, program management, or Agile delivery leadership.
• Proven success managing complex software programs with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with backlog management, program planning, prioritization, and delivery governance.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decisions and align teams around shared goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
• Broad technical knowledge across SaaS, Cloud, AI, QA, deployment.

For our Software Engineering team in Aarhus, Denmark, we are looking for a Senior Software Program Manager who can align product vision, engineering excellence, and business priorities to deliver impactful software solutions.

What You Will Do As our Senior Software Program Manager, you will play a key role in turning new product development into successful deliveries. Working across Product Management, Engineering, and key business stakeholders, you will help ensure our teams remain focused on delivering high‑value solutions that meet customer and business needs.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the delivery of software initiatives, ensuring teams create value for customers and the business.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and key stakeholders to align priorities, Program Increments, and execution.
• In the role of Product Owner (PO), drive planning, coordination, and delivery across cross‑functional Agile teams.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and impediments to keep programs on track and achieve business objectives.
• Foster collaboration and transparency, by providing clear communication on progress, priorities, and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, platforms, and ways of working through customer, business, and technical insights.
• Champion Agile practices and continuous improvement to enhance delivery effectiveness and quality.
• Help shape future product direction by translating stakeholder needs and market opportunities into actionable initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, product ownership, program management, or Agile delivery leadership.
• Demonstrated success managing complex software programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with backlog management, program planning, prioritization, and delivery governance.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decisions and align teams around shared goals.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
• Broad technical knowledge and experience with software and system development and delivery, QA, deployment, SaaS, Cloud, AI, and related disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large‑scale software organizations with distributed teams.
• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Senior Software Engineer.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Aha!, Confluence, or similar delivery and planning tools.
• SAFe, Scrum, Agile, or Project Management certifications.
