Job summary

Simatek A/S invites a Senior Process Engineer to become a technical partner in its Process & Proposal team. You will translate customer requirements into competitive process solutions, collaborate across Technology, Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Project Management, and prepare technical proposals.

The role offers growth toward commercial areas and product development, with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum five years of experience in process engineering, system design, or development of technical solutions within industrial environments
• Experience with process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing
• Strong understanding of industrial process systems and integration of multiple technologies
• Experience with technical proposals, quotations, or engineering projects is an advantage
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical, technically sound, and commercially attractive solutions
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across multiple disciplines
• Professional proficiency in English; a second or additional languages are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Transform customer requirements into competitive, technically robust process solutions
• Define system solutions around core products in collaboration with Technology and other functions
• Prepare technical proposals and contribute to new standards for quoting
• Perform process calculations, equipment sizing, and supplier collaboration
• Act as a technical advisor in customer discussions, balancing technical and commercial considerations
• Contribute to evolving engineering standards, tools, and future process solutions
• Support potential evolution toward more commercial roles or product development
