Qualifications
- Master's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience developing power electronic solutions for drives, inverters, or similar applications.
- Deep knowledge of magnetics, SMPS, EMC, or functional safety; strong analytical and simulation skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop power electronic solutions for next-generation variable speed drives, including simulation, prototyping, testing, and product validation.
- Drive development and optimization of converter topologies, power stages, magnetic components, SMPS, thermal solutions, and EMC-compliant designs.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including wide band gap semiconductors such as SiC to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, mechanical engineering, supply chain, and procurement to meet customer requirements.
- Support verification, reliability, and continuous improvement activities including design reviews and risk assessments.
- Contribute to functional safety considerations and robust design practices with system and validation teams.
