Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Power Electronics Architect to shape the next generation of variable speed drive solutions for HVAC and Water Drives. You will define the architecture of power electronics, drive performance, reliability, and scalability while collaborating across hardware, software, systems, and mechanical teams to meet product and customer needs.

You will lead technology evaluation of SiC and other emerging approaches, mentor engineers, and influence design direction in a supportive,

Qualifications

Master's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience designing power electronic systems for frequency converters, drives, inverters, or similar applications.
Strong knowledge of converter topologies, power semiconductor technologies, and system-level architecture development.

Responsibilities

Define and own the power electronics system architecture for next-generation variable speed drive products.
Drive technical decisions and trade-offs across performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
Lead concept development and evaluation of emerging technologies such as Silicon Carbide (SiC).
Collaborate across hardware, software, systems, and mechanical teams to ensure alignment with product and customer requirements.
Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to platform development and long-term innovation initiatives.
