Job summary

Ørsted A/S is seeking a qualified mechanical engineer to support onshore and offshore pipeline operation, inspection, engineering, integrity, and asset management. The role emphasizes safety, data analysis, and collaboration with external consultants to safeguard assets.

You will participate in 24/7 duty coverage during familiarisation and travel for two to three day trips monthly, plus offshore campaigns in summer. Strong English and exposure to oil & gas are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering studies and tasks for onshore/offshore pipelines and terminals.
• Perform inspection data analysis and integrity assessments of ~800 km of pipelines.
• Support offshore inspection and maintenance campaigns and liaise with authorities and contractors.
• Act as offshore representative/supervisor on contractor vessels and ensure delivery of inspection results.
• Contribute input to budgets and management reporting.
