Job summary

Ørsted is seeking an OT Guard & Service Management professional to monitor OT/SCADA incidents across wind assets, triage events, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements to resilience and reliability.

You’ll collaborate with control rooms, cybersecurity, engineering, and suppliers in a 24/7 on-call environment, ensuring safe, secure operations across regions and time zones. Experience with OT/SCADA and industrial protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with OT or SCADA in critical infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of ICS architectures and protocols (IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA).
• Ability to troubleshoot networks, operating systems, and system integrations in OT environments.
• Clear communication and collaboration across disciplines, regions, and suppliers.
• Structured, calm, and decisive when handling incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OT system health, security events, and operational alerts across wind assets and facilities.
• Triage and respond to OT/SCADA incidents with control room, cybersecurity, and engineering teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and document preventive actions.
• Conduct remote diagnostics and coordinate field or supplier interventions as needed.
• Maintain incident records, handovers, and runbooks to support 24/7 operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to strengthen resilience and supplier performance.

Job description

Join us in this role where you’ll take a leading role in monitoring, triaging, and resolving OT and SCADA incidents across global wind assets. You’ll coordinate incident response across disciplines, drive root cause analysis, and strengthen operational resilience to ensure safe, secure, and reliable energy production. As part of our 24/7 operational setup, you’ll also join an on-duty rotation for one week each month, giving you the opportunity to take ownership when it matters most and help keep our assets running safely and reliably around the clock.

You’ll be part of OT Guard & Service Management where you, together with your colleagues, will support offshore and onshore assets by ensuring stable, secure, and compliant OT and SCADA operations across regions and time zones. You’ll collaborate closely with control rooms, cybersecurity, engineering teams, and suppliers to manage incidents and maintain high operational standards.

As a team, we we collaborate closely, act with integrity, and share knowledge openly to deliver safe, resilient, and high‑performing operations, even in high‑pressure situations.

You’ll play an important role in:

• monitoring OT system health, security events, and operational alerts across wind assets, substations, and onshore facilities
• triaging and responding to OT and SCADA incidents in close coordination with control room, cybersecurity, and engineering teams
• performing root cause analysis and documenting preventive actions to reduce repeat incidents
• conducting remote diagnostics and coordinating field or supplier interventions when required
• maintaining accurate incident records, handovers, and runbooks to support 24/7 operations
• contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen system resilience, supplier performance, and operational standards.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have experience working with OT or SCADA systems in critical infrastructure environments, or equivalent experience
• understand industrial control system architectures and protocols, such as IEC 60870‑5‑104, Modbus/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA, or equivalent experience
• are confident troubleshooting networks, operating systems, and system integrations in complex OT landscapes
• communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across disciplines, regions, and suppliers
• remain structured and calm when handling incidents in changing operational conditions
• hold a degree in engineering, automation, computer science, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

Position salary range:

For this position, the expected base pay range is kr54,480.00- kr81,720.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
