Job summary

Ørsted Bioenergy is seeking a Senior Operational Technology (OT) Security Officer to strengthen security, resilience, and compliance across OT/IT, engineering, and operations. You’ll lead security controls, translate cyber risk into business impact, and collaborate with multi-site teams and vendors.

You’ll operate in complex, international, safety-critical environments and travel within Denmark to sites as needed, contributing to secure, safe, and reliable power generation.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, Automation, or equivalent.
• Understand and know how to operate in ICs systems and a 24/7 production environment.
• Familiar with IT networks like Purdue model, firewall, data diodes.
• Knowledge of IEC 62433, ISO 27001 and Lov om styrket Beredskab i Energisektoren.
• Fluent in Danish and English; strong teamwork and responsibility.
• Flexible and curious to learn new areas and assist the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of OT security governance, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess, manage, and reduce cyber risk across OT environments including industrial control systems, SCADA, PLCs, IIoT, and related networks.
• Define and support secure OT architecture including network segmentation, secure remote access, asset visibility, access control, logging, monitoring, and vulnerability management.
• Conduct OT security risk assessments, gap analyses, and maturity reviews aligned with frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure practical, risk-based security controls.
• Drive OT security awareness and training for technical and operational teams.

Education

Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Automation, or equivalent practical experience
