Job summary

Ørsted Bioenergy invites a Senior OT Security Officer to strengthen security, resilience, and compliance across OT and IT environments. You will translate cyber risk into business impacts and collaborate with operations, engineering, and vendors to ensure safe, reliable operations at multi-site facilities.

You will lead governance, policy development, risk assessments, secure architecture, and security training for technical teams, in a complex safety-critical energy setting across Denmark.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Automation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understand operate in ICs systems in a 24/7 production environment.
• Familiar with IT networks like Purdue model, firewall, data diodes.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, ISO 27001 and Lov om styrket Beredskab i Energisektoren.
• Fluency in Danish and English for stakeholder communication.
• Willingness to take on tasks outside comfort zone.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of OT security governance, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess, manage, and reduce cyber risk across OT environments including ICS, SCADA, PLCs, IIoT, and related networks.
• Define and support secure OT architecture including network segmentation, secure remote access, asset visibility, access control, logging, monitoring, and vulnerability management.
• Conduct OT security risk assessments, gap analyses, and maturity reviews aligned with frameworks such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and Danish legislation.
• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, IT, and vendors to ensure practical, risk-based security controls.
• Drive OT security awareness and training for technical and operational teams.
