Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer with offshore design experience to join our team. You will perform detailed safety system design and modifications, manage area classification, ignition source control, fire and gas detection, EER planning, SIL assessment, PED definitions, and environmental engineering considerations.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in offshore projects, strong knowledge of Ptil requirements and ISO/NORSOK standards, and excellent Norwegian and English

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in technical safety or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of offshore design and modification experience.
• Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects.
• Area Classification and Ignition Source Control.
• Fire and Gas Detection.
• Escape, Evacuation and Rescue, EER.
• Safety Integrity Level, SIL.
• Definition of fluid groups, PED.
• Interdisciplinary coordination, checks and verifications.
• Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews.
• Follow-up of client, vendors and 3rd Parties.
