Job summary

Aeven A/S in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist with hands-on experience in Nokia routers and DWDM infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of critical networks.

You will perform daily maintenance, lead 2nd/3rd level troubleshooting, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to ITIL-based operations within ServiceNow, collaborating with vendors and internal teams for swift incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Nokia routers/switches in large transport networks.
• Experience with DWDM systems (Ribbon preferred).
• Proficiency with Nokia CLI and NFM-P.
• Solid knowledge of BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, L2VPN/L3VPN, SR.
• Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of Nokia routers via NFM-P.
• Troubleshoot IP and transport layers; coordinate with Nokia and Ribbon.
• Plan and execute routine maintenance tasks (upgrades, patches).
• Participate in service windows; minimize disruption.
• Produce risk analyses as required.
• Use performance data to optimize QoS and DWDM settings.
• Maintain docs and network diagrams; prepare reports.
• Operate according to ITIL in ServiceNow.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
