Job summary

GlobalConnect Oy seeks a Senior Network Engineer to shape Nordic network services across carrier-scale infrastructure, connecting businesses, hospitals and public services. You will design reliable solutions that scale across the Nordics and work with complex underlay networks.

The role requires deep expertise in BGP, MPLS, EVPN and OSPF/IS-IS, plus experience with OSS/BSS, orchestration platforms, REST APIs and YANG/NETCONF.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in carrier or large-enterprise networking.
• Deep knowledge of BGP, MPLS L3VPN/L2VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing and OSPF/IS-IS.
• Experience with OSS/BSS, orchestration platforms or service controllers using REST APIs and YANG/NETCONF.
• Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nokia or Arista.
• Fluent in English; fluency in a Scandinavian language is a plus.

Senior Network Engineer – Shape the Network Services Behind the Nordics

Would you like your engineering work to reach far beyond a single platform or customer? At GlobalConnect, you'll help shape network services on infrastructure that carries more than half of Scandinavia’s internet connections - connecting businesses, hospitals and public services. This is an opportunity to combine practical engineering with service design and turn complex network needs into reliable solutions that work on a Nordic scale.

• 5+ years of experience in carrier or large-enterprise networking, including practical underlay work supporting telecom services.
• Deep technical knowledge of BGP, MPLS L3VPN/L2VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing and OSPF/IS-IS, plus experience with multi-tenant services, wholesale interconnects or peering.
• Experience with OSS/BSS, orchestration platforms or service controllers using REST APIs and YANG/NETCONF.
• Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nokia or Arista.
