Job summary

3Shape A/S in Denmark is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the Cloud Storage team. You will design, develop and maintain backend services powering data movement, storage and synchronization across clinics, laboratories and cloud environments worldwide.

You will work with C#/.NET, Azure, DevOps, IaC and SRE practices to build reliable, scalable systems, including multi-region deployment pipelines, monitoring dashboards and secure data handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional C#/.NET backend development experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, concurrency and debugging.
• Experience with SQL; Postgres is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services for 3Shape Cloud Storage core platform.
• Combine backend development with SRE, Infrastructure as code and DevOps for distributed systems.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across a large production environment.
• Handle end-to-end delivery from development to deployment readiness and stakeholder alignment.
