Qualifications

• PhD in ML or related quantitative field with industry experience.
• Experience applying ML to molecular design, predictive modelling or computational drug discovery in industry.
• Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch; experience deploying models.

Responsibilities

• Lead predictive modelling projects from problem definition through deployment and impact assessment.
• Develop and apply ML approaches for molecular and chemical modelling; evaluate new AI methods.
• Collaborate with experimental scientists, engineers, data scientists and computational experts to build scalable modelling solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior ML scientists across the team.
• Communicate insights to stakeholders and contribute to publications, patents, and external visibility.
