Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Måløv, Denmark, seeks a PKPD Principal Scientist to drive translational PK/PD modelling across preclinical to first-in-human studies. You will build mechanistic models, interpret data, and support cross-functional project teams with stakeholders from in vivo pharmacology to regulatory affairs.

The role requires a PhD with PKPD expertise (or equivalent), strong modelling software skills (Phoenix WinNonlin/NLME, NONMEM, R, Python, Matlab) and a passion for translating science

Qualifications

• Ph.D. within Pharmaceuticals, Medical, Physics, Math or Engineering sciences with pharma PKPD experience or a Master’s with PKPD experience
• Strong understanding of PKPD and translational science methodologies
• Experience modelling biological processes using mechanistic or empirical models
• Ability to identify challenges and translate them into actionable work packages
• Experience with PKPD modelling software and data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Set translational PK/PKPD strategy across molecular formats with stakeholders
• Design preclinical PK/PKPD studies, interpret and report data
• Build mathematical models and simulate human PK/PD to inform decisions
• Guide project design for preclinical studies and first-in-human trials
• Interact with regulatory authorities and provide input to regulatory documents
