Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Måløv, Denmark invites applications for a PKPD Principal Scientist to drive translational modelling from preclinical to early human development. You will build mechanistic PK/PD models and design preclinical studies, guiding multidisciplinary teams and regulatory stakeholders to inform project decisions.

You will apply PBPK/QSP approaches, interpret data, and communicate results to cross-functional partners, shaping strategy and best practices across the DMPK and Modelling

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in relevant field with pharma PKPD experience, or a Master’s with PKPD industry experience.
• Strong PKPD knowledge and translational science methodologies.
• Experience with mechanistic and/or hybrid modelling approaches.
• Ability to identify challenges and translate into actionable work packages.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction and drive the translational PK/PKPD screening and mechanistic modelling strategy across multiple formats.
• Design preclinical PK and PK/PD studies, interpret and report data.
• Build mathematical models and simulate human PK/PD from in-house and literature data.
• Guide projects on study design, dose setting, and trial design.
• Interact with regulatory authorities and contribute to regulatory documents (IND, IMPD, NDA).
• Demonstrate leadership in state-of-the-art modelling competencies and drive innovation.
• Independently solve complex problems with broad business impact.
