Job summary

Demant is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to advance our hardware-focused hearing instrument projects. You will perform micro-mechanical development, create CAD concepts, and build prototypes in our tool shop, then simulate and optimize designs toward production in Poland or abroad.

You will guide colleagues, plan and implement design work, and contribute to internal process improvements while contributing to a high‑caliber hardware team with agile practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with several years in R&D.
• Experience with PTC Creo 3D CAD and skeleton modelling.
• Knowledge of tolerance stack-up, DFM and DFA.
• Experience designing parts for injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Develop micro-mechanical concepts and construction in CAD.
• Build prototypes in the tool shop and simulate on models.
• Follow products to realization and production in Poland or overseas.
• Guide mechanical developers and support planning of daily activities.
• Define and implement design work, specifications, design reviews and documentation.
