Job summary

WSA is seeking a senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Dynamic Process Engineering team in Denmark. You will drive optimization for plastic, metal, and rubber components and own product maintenance, collaborating with R&D and global suppliers to ensure robust, scalable hearing solutions.

You will develop CAD designs and documentation in Creo, Agile, and Windchill, serving as a technical expert in plastics and manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or maintenance.
• Strong experience with plastic component design and injection molding.
• Experience with CAD and PLM/PDM systems (Creo, Agile, Windchill).
• Solid understanding of design optimization and product lifecycle management.
• Experience in cross-functional and international environments.
• Strong written and verbal English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive design optimization and engineering changes for plastic, metal, and rubber components.
• Own product maintenance activities and collaborate with R&D on improvements.
• Develop and maintain CAD designs and documentation using Creo, Agile, and Windchill.
• Be a subject matter expert in plastics, metals, elastomers, and manufacturing technologies.
• Participate in ECM, root cause investigations, CAPA, MRNs, and customer complaints.
• Collaborate with global suppliers, manufacturing sites, and quality teams.
• Support continuous improvement of products and processes.
• Contribute to technical problem-solving across the product lifecycle.
