Asgaard Recruitment ApS is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop and improve mechanical components for IoT products. The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years in mechanical product development and experience with SolidWorks.
The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and hands-on mechanical development with a focus on both current products and new product development initiatives. Join us in shaping the future of intelligent pest control solutions!
Do you want to help shape robust mechanical solutions for intelligent IoT products used worldwide?
Ansøg
As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take a central role in developing and improving physical products where mechanics, electronics, and firmware come together. This includes close cross‑functional collaboration with electronics, software, and firmware specialists to ensure that the mechanical design supports the full product architecture and contributes to the best possible overall solution.
The role combines hands‑on mechanical development with technical leadership. You will help set the professional standard for mechanical design, support task coordination within the team, and contribute to stronger engineering practices across design reviews, release discipline, root‑cause analysis, testing, documentation, and change management.
A key part of the role will be to strengthen the mechanical foundation of existing products already deployed at large scale. Initially, much of the focus will be on improving and troubleshooting current products, while over time the role will increasingly include new product development, next‑generation solutions, and larger product improvements.
The position is primarily based in Bagsværd, with regular presence in Helsinge expected – typically around one day per week – to stay close to production, products, and technical problem‑solving.
You will become a key technical voice in the mechanical discipline, helping raise the engineering standard and ensuring that products are designed not only to work, but to work reliably at scale.
You are an experienced mechanical engineer with deep technical expertise and a strong interest in building physical products that must perform in the real world. You enjoy hands‑on mechanical design, structured problem‑solving, and turning technical findings into robust, manufacturable solutions.
You likely bring
It is an advantage if you have experience with injection molding, sheet metal, machined components, GD & T, FEA/CFD, test fixtures, FMEA, ISO 9001, PDM/PLM systems, or mechatronic products.
Anticimex Innovation Center is at a pivotal moment – moving from a fast‑moving scale‑up approach toward a more professional and scalable product‑development organization, without losing agility.
Today, Anticimex has around 600 000 connected devices deployed globally, creating both strong proof of success and a need to further mature engineering practices, product robustness, and long‑term ownership.
You will join an organization with strong ambitions, short decision paths, and real opportunities to influence how products are designed, improved, tested, documented, and industrialized. You will help raise the technical level of the mechanical discipline and play an important part in building more scalable in‑house development capabilities.
If you are motivated by mechanical product development, technical problem‑solving, and the opportunity to help shape the next generation of intelligent pest control solutions, we would like to hear from you.
