Job summary

Vitrolife in Aarhus (Viby) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team of more than 35 engineers and scientists. You will drive development from idea to product launch and contribute to the next generation of fertility technology.

You will develop mechanical components and systems, design in SolidWorks, translate concepts into proofs of concept, prototype, test, and collaborate with suppliers to move components through approval and into manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) and hands-on experience in mechanical product development.
• Strong skills in design, drawing, and technical documentation.
• High proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience in device construction, ideally with mechatronics and fine mechanics.
• Familiarity with manufacturing technologies including plastic injection moulding and machining.
• Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience from medical devices or regulated industries valued but not required.
• Independent, solution-oriented, and collaborative.
