Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Ensuring legal compliance and mitigating legal and commercial risks across the Group.
• Acting as a trusted legal advisor to management and stakeholders globally.
• Supporting strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives within the Group.
• Developing and maintaining the Group's legal templates, policies, and processes.

Education

Hansen Toft is seeking a Senior Legal Conusel on behalf of GPV Group.

Commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel for a successful international company

To ensure high legal quality and support continued business growth, GPV is looking to strengthen its Legal Department with another commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel or Attorney with solid experience in commercial law for its headquarters in Vejle, Denmark.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work closely with colleagues across the organization. Together with your colleagues in the Legal Department, you will support the business by strengthening its commercial contractual framework, ensuring corporate compliance, and acting as a trusted legal advisor to the Group's global entities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
• Supporting and ensuring legal compliance, mitigating legal and commercial risks, and advising on regulatory and governance matters across the Group.
• Acting as a trusted legal advisor to management and stakeholders across the global organization.
• Supporting strategic projects and other cross-functional initiatives across the Group
• Developing and maintaining the Group's legal templates, policies, and processes.

You will enjoy a broad and varied role with extensive international exposure, working closely with colleagues across Sales, Procurement, Corporate Functions, and manufacturing sites worldwide. As part of a global organization, your legal advice will play an important role in supporting business decisions and enabling continued growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in an in-house legal role within an international manufacturing or service company or from private practice. You hold a master's degree in Law (LL.M.) or a master’s degree in business law (cand.merc.jur. or equivalent) and possess strong commercial acumen combined with a positive, pragmatic, and holistic approach.

You are analytically strong and able to navigate complex legal matters while translating them into practical, business-oriented advice. You are proactive, work independently, and take ownership of your responsibilities. You are a collaborative, service-minded team player with the ability to stand your ground when necessary. You communicate fluently in both Danish and English, both verbally and in writing. German language skills would be considered an advantage.
