Job summary

Zenvo Automotive A/S seeks a senior leader to head the structural design of vehicle systems across carbon fibre composites and metallic structures. You will build and direct a high‑performing team, define layouts, and ensure designs are manufacturable, weight‑efficient, and cost‑effective from concept through SOP and into series production.

You will partner with CAE, simulation, and manufacturing teams to translate analysis into design changes, while maintaining a strong focus on multi‑material

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, automotive, or structural engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years in structural design engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience delivering mixed‑material structural designs at production volume, ideally in automotive, motorsport, or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Own the structural design strategy and architecture for vehicle systems across composite and metallic domains.
• Lead and grow a structural design team; set design standards, workflows, and quality expectations.
• Direct creation of structural design layouts, CAD models, and detailed drawings for manufacturability.
• Partner with CAE/simulation teams to translate analysis outputs into design changes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain to industrialize designs at target volumes and cost.
• Lead multi-material joining design including joint layout and fastening/bonding strategy.
• Work with homologation to ensure design decisions support regulatory requirements.
