Johnson Controls in Denmark seeks a Senior Engineering Specialist to lead and advance laboratory testing for industrial chillers, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems. You will drive validation, instrumentation, and data acquisition while mentoring the lab team and collaborating with R&D and product engineering.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on lab experience, strong thermodynamics expertise, and a track record of safety and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Strong experience with chillers, heat pumps, refrigeration systems, compressors and control systems.
• Solid knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration cycles.
• Experience with natural refrigerants (ammonia and A3 refrigerants).
• Knowledge of instrumentation, measurement technology, automation, and data acquisition systems.
• Structured analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, execution, and development of laboratory testing activities.
• Drive performance, reliability, durability, and functional testing of HVAC systems.
• Support prototype development, validation, certification, and technology verification.
• Specify, implement, and commission instrumentation and data acquisition solutions.
• Mentor laboratory engineers, technicians, and operators.
• Support customer witness testing and strategic product development projects.
• Promote LEAN and continuous improvement in the lab.
• Own laboratory safety processes and drive a strong safety culture.
• Perform risk assessments related to refrigeration, pressure equipment, electrical and refrigerant technologies.
