Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on Automation and IT professional to support daily production, optimise systems, and drive digitalisation in a regulated manufacturing environment in Denmark. Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, IT, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial IT, automation, or regulated production environments.
• Experience with DCS (ABB Sattline or similar).
• Experience with PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Experience with manufacturing applications, SCADA, MES, system integrations, and OT environments.
• Experience with Windows Server environments, SQL databases, historians, and industrial data management.
• Experience with computerised systems lifecycle management, validation, change control, and GMP-regulated processes.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
• Analytical, curious, and driven to understand system interactions.
• Clear communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Strong focus on quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production through advanced troubleshooting, technical investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and optimise manufacturing applications, automation platforms, industrial infrastructure, databases, historians, and system integrations.
• Drive lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, patching, system improvements, and technology renewals.
• Support validation, qualification, audit readiness, and GMP compliance activities for critical production systems.
• Identify opportunities for digitalisation, simplification, and automation to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with automation engineers, production teams, process specialists, and IT colleagues.
• Take ownership of critical systems and contribute to production reliability and operational excellence.
