Job summary

Impact Fund Denmark seeks a (Senior) Valuation Analyst to help analyse and value a diverse portfolio of investments in developing countries and emerging markets. You will combine financial modelling with work that supports sustainable development and contributes to green, just and inclusive societies.

You will prepare valuations for financial accounts and quarterly investor reporting, using income-based and market-based models to determine fair market value.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and digital capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative approach.
• Experience with valuations, financial modelling and designing financial analyses.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst, e.g. from corporate finance or investment banking.
• A master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong communication skills and excellent written and spoken English.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
• Experience with SQL and Bloomberg is an advantage; a strong motivation to learn and develop digital capabilities is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare valuations of Impact Fund Denmark’s investment portfolio for internal and external reporting purposes.
• Prepare quarterly external investor reports, financial reporting to the Board and reporting to other key stakeholders.
• Support investment professionals with financial analysis, financial modelling and valuation work related to new investments and exits.
• Prepare portfolio analyses and insights for senior management to support decision‑making, prioritisation and portfolio oversight.
• Validate, reconcile and align financial input across the investment portfolio.
• Develop and maintain valuation tools and identify opportunities to simplify, improve and automate valuation and reporting processes.
• Contribute to the development of digital solutions and tools that improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and transparency across the portfolio.
